ENTERTAINMENT SYSTEM INSTRUCTIONS

FIRST THINGS TO DO WHEN YOU ARRIVE: 1.       Turn on both Satellite receivers (1 and 2) 2.       Turn on Russound unit (this sends the sound to other rooms and the front and back patios) 3.       Turn on both switches (Shinybow and Impact) sitting on top of the DVD player (the on/off button is on the left side of each unit)	CHECKLIST OF THINGS TO DO WHEN YOU LEAVE: 1.        Turn off all TVs 2.       Turn off the Russound unit 3.       Turn off the Impact Switch 4.       Turn off the Shinybow Switch 5.       Turn off the amplifier 6.       Turn off the DVD player 7.       You can leave the two Satellite receivers on

WATCH SATELLITE NO. 1 IN THE FAMILY ROOM	·         Use the TV remote:  Turn on the TV and make sure the input is set to Component 1 ·         Make sure Satellite 1 is turned on ·         Push the far right button on the Impact Switch repeatedly until it glows Green[1] ·         Push channel button number 1 on the Impact Switch (it will glow green or orange) ·         Turn on the amplifier and turn the left knob to select “DVR”
WATCH SATELLITE NO. 2 IN THE FAMILY ROOM	·         Use TV remote: Turn on the TV and make sure the input is set to Component 1 ·         Make sure Satellite 2 is turned on ·         Push the far right button on the Impact Switch repeatedly until it glows Green ·         Push channel button number 2 on the Impact Switch (it will glow green or orange) Turn on the amplifier and turn the left knob to select “TV/SAT”
WATCH A DVD IN THE FAMILY ROOM	·         Turn on the TV and make sure the input is set to Component 1 ·         Make sure DVD Player is turned on ·         Push the far right button on the Impact Switch repeatedly until it glows Green ·         Push channel button number 3 on the Impact Switch (it will glow green or orange) Turn on the amplifier and turn the left knob to select “DVD”

WATCH SATELLITE NO. 1 IN THE MASTER BED ROOM	·         Use TV remote in MB: Turn on the TV and set input to Component 1 ·         Make sure Satellite 1 is turned on (in the family room) ·         Push the far right button on the Impact Switch repeatedly until it glows Red[2] ·         Push channel button number 1 on the Impact Switch (it will glow green or orange) ·         Turn on the Russound wall controller and select Source 1 (use remote or wall panel to control volume.
WATCH SATELLITE NO. 2 IN THE MASTER BED ROOM	·         Turn on the TV and make sure the input is set to Component 1 ·         Make sure Satellite 2 is turned on (in the family room) ·         Push the far right button on the Impact Switch repeatedly until it glows Green ·         Push channel button number 2 on the impact Switch (it will glow green or orange) ·         Turn on the Russound wall controller and select Source 2
WATCH A DVD IN THE MASTER BEDROOM	·         Turn on the TV and make sure the input is set to Component 1 ·         Make sure Satellite 1 is turned on. ·         Push the far right button on the Impact Switch repeatedly until it glows green ·         Push channel button number 3 on the Impact Switch (it will glow green or orange) ·         Turn on the Russound wall controller and select Source 3
WATCH SATELLITE NO. 1 IN THE OFFICE	·         Turn on the TV and make sure the input is set to Video 1 ·         Make sure Satellite 1 is turned on ·         Push the button labeled “Office” on the Shinybow Switch repeatedly until it displays 1 ·         Turn on the Russound wall controller in the Office and select Source 1
WATCH SATELLITE NO. 2 IN THE OFFICE	·         Turn on the TV and press input to set to Video 1 ·         Make sure Satellite 2 is turned on ·         Push the button labeled “office” on the ShinyBow Switch repeatedly until it displays 2 ·         Turn on the Russound wall controller in the Office and select Source 2
WATCH A DVD IN THE OFFICE	·         Turn on the TV and make sure the input is set to Video 1 ·         Make sure the DVD player (in the Fam Rm) is turned on ·         Push the button labeled “Office” on the ShinyBow Switch repeatedly until it displays 3 ·         Turn on the Russound wall controller in the Office and select Source 3

WATCH SATELLITE NO. 1 IN THE MASTER BATH (TV ABOVE THE TUV)	·         Turn on the TV and make sure the input is set to Video 1 ·         Make sure Satellite 1 is turned on ·         Push the button labeled “Master Bathroom” on the ShinyBow Switch repeatedly until it displays 1 ·         Turn on the Russound wall controller in the Master Bedroom and select Source 1, with the volume set at 30 or more. ·         Use the volume control knob inside the bathroom door to set the volume. ·         Change channels and all other features of the satellite tuner by pointing the satellite remote at the Russound wall control unit in the Master Bedroom
WATCH SATELLITE NO. 2 IN THE MASTER BATH	·         Turn on the TV and make sure the input is set to Video 1 ·         Make sure Satellite 2 is turned on ·         Push the button labeled “Master Bathroom” on the ShinyBow Switch repeatedly until it displays 2 ·         Turn on the Russound wall controller in the Master Bedroom and select Source 2, with the volume set at 30 or more. ·         Use the volume control knob inside the bathroom door to set the volume ·         Change channels and all other features of the satellite tuner by pointing the satellite remote at the Russound wall control unit in the Master Bedroom
WATCH A DVD IN THE MASTER BATH	·         Turn on the TV and make sure the input is set to Video 1 ·         Make sure the DVD player in the Fam Rm is turned on ·         Insert a DVD and push play (it is easier to monitor the DVD player by using the Family Room TV (see above) and then, when the DVD is playing, follow the steps outlined here to get the video and audio playing in the Master Bathroom) ·         Push the button labeled “Master Bathroom” on the ShinyBow Switch repeatedly until it displays 3 ·         Turn on the Russound wall controller in the Master Bedroom and select Source 3, with the volume set at 30 or more ·         Use the volume control knob inside the bathroom door to set the volume
LISTEN TO DVD OR CD IN THE FAMILY ROOM	·         FOLLOW SAME INSTRUCTIONS FOR WATCHING A DVD IN THE FAMILY ROOM; Control the volume, etc. using the amplifier
LISTEN TO DVD ANYWHERE ELSE IN THE HOUSE	·         Turn on the DVD player and load the disc you want ·         Push “Play” ·         Go to the Russound wall control panel in the room where you want the sound, turn it on and push “source” repeatedly until it displays “3”
LISTEN TO SATELLITE (1 OR 2) MUSIC OR AUDIO ANYWHERE ELSE IN THE HOUSE	·         Follow the instructions for playing either Satellite TV 1 or 2 in the Family Room and select the channel you want ·         Go to the Russound wall control panel in the room where you want the sound, turn it on and push “source” repeatedly until it displays “1” (for Satellite 1) or “2” (for Satellite 2)
